Our Inspiration

It all began on our honeymoon in Mauritius

Hello from us – Bojana and Nikola, the heart behind Lumio Lights.
We’re a creative pair from North Macedonia – a talented product designer, and a developer with a passion for detail. What brought us together – besides love – was our shared curiosity for design, light, and the beauty of the world around us.

While traveling the world, we always searched for things that sparked wonder. On our honeymoon in Mauritius, we stumbled into a hidden little shop… and into something magical. That’s where we met Simone R. Doria, and where we saw the lamps that would light up a whole new path in our lives.

That moment planted the seed for Lumio Lights – a way to bring something truly special back to this side of the world. Today, we curate and share these handmade pieces so others can feel the same spark of inspiration, warmth, and wonder we felt that day.
